In order that we may better serve you, below are directions
on how our office handles patient calls, at 972-256-3700.
During office hours, for questions or concerns that are
not answered in your OB booklet or through doctor's instructions,
let the front office know the nature of your question and
you will be forwarded to voicemail.
There, you should:
- Speak and spell your name,
- Leave your date of birth,
- Leave a brief message,
- One phone number, and (please stay
at this number)
- If applicable, leave a pharmacy number.
We aim to answer morning messages by
noon and the afternoon messages before the end of the business
day. In the rare event that you do not get a return call,
please call back, and repeat the same message and indicate
this is the second message. If you continue to have a problem,
please ask for our nursing supervisor.
After hours, for emergencies that can not wait for business
hours, listen to the recording for instructions and you
will immediately be connected with our answering service.
Most symptoms need to be evaluated in person and you will
be directed to the Baylor Medical Center of Irving. We will
be notified from there. Please note: We DO NOT call in pain
medication or routine refills after business hours. Please
remove call block or privacy manager from your phone. If
not removed we will be unable to return your call. Keep
in mind: Lab results will be called or mailed to you as
promised!
